ਮਦਰਾਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ

ਮਦਰਾਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਤਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਪ੍ਰਾਤ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਚੇਨਈ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦੱਖਣ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਬ ਤੋਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਹੈ। 11 ਨਵਬਰ 1839 ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਰਵਜਨੀਕ ਯਾਚਿਕਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਦਰਾਸ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਿਤੀ ਗਈ।
