ਹਾਇਰੋਗਲਿਫ਼ (ਗੂੜ੍ਹ-ਅੱਖਰ)

ਹਾਇਰੋਗਲਿਫ਼ (ਯੂਨਾਨੀ: ਪਾਕ ਲਿਖਤ) ਇੱਕ ਲਿਪੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਸਭਿਆਤਾਵਾਂ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਮਿਸਰੀ, ਮਾਇਆ ਆਦਿ, ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਲੋਗੋਗ੍ਰਾਫ਼ਿਕ (ਸ਼ਬਦ-ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ) ਲਿਪੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਾਇਰੋਗਲਿਫ਼ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।^[1]
