Sovetsk (Roushie: Сове́тск), afore 1946 kent as Tilsit (Lithuanie: Tilžė; Pols: Tylża) in East Proushie, is a toun in Kaliningrad Oblast, Roushie, locatit on the sooth bank o the Neman River. Population: 41,705 (2010 Census);[1] 43,224 (2002 Census);[6] 41,881 (1989 Census).[7]
