Aprelevka (Roushie: Апре́левка) is a toun in Naro-Fominsky Destrict o Moscow Oblast, Roushie, locatit alang the Moscow—Kaluga railwey, 42 kilometer (26 mi) frae Moscow. Population: 18,349 (2010 Census);[1] 18,357 (2002 Census);[4] 21,178 (1989 Census).[5]

Etymologie
The toun wis namit efter the nearbi Aprelevka River. While the name is quite seemilar tae the Roushie wird "апрель" (Aprile), it bears nae etymological connection tae it. Rather, it is derivit frae the wird "прель", meanin a "damp place" or a "bog".[6]
