In Greek meethology, Daedalus (Ancient Greek: Δαίδαλος Daidalos, aiblins relatit tae δαιδάλλω "tae wirk airtfully";[1] Laitin: Daedalus; Etruscan: Taitale) wis a skillful craftsman an airtist.[2][3] He is the faither o Icarus, the uncle o Perdix an aiblins the faither o Iapyx, awtho this is unclear.
