Dryfe Watter is a river in Dumfries an Gallowa, Scotland. It is aboot 18 mile lang an flowes intil the River Annan at grid reference NY 107 820, near Lockerbie.[1] It stairts at NT 170 041 on the soothren slopes o Loch Fell near Moffat an syne flowes alang a narrae glen til the Annan.

Dryfe Watter gies its name til the pairish, Drysal (English: Dryfesdale), an the common Scots faimily name, Drysdale. A seicont name is the gey less common faimily name Dryfe (or Drife).
