The Horodok Raion is locatit in the soothwastren pairt o the Khmelnytskyi Oblast, corresponding tae the modren-day boondars o the Podolia historical region.^[2] It wis established on 7 Mairch 1923 as pairt o a full-scale admeenistrative reorganisation o the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.^[1]
