Lotoshinsky Destrict (Roushie: Лотоши́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] destrict (raion), ane o the thirty-sax in Moscow Oblast, Roushie. It is locatit in the northwast o the oblast an borders wi Tver Oblast in the north an wast, Volokolamsky Destrict in the sootheast, Shakhovskoy Destrict in the soothwast, an wi Klinsky Destrict in the east. The aurie o the destrict is 979.57 square kilometer (378.21 sq mi).[4] Its admeenistrative centre is the urban locality (a wirk dounset) o Lotoshino.[1] Population: 17,859 (2010 Census);[5] 18,337 (2002 Census);[8] 18,290 (1989 Census).[9] The population o Lotoshino accoonts for 31.1% o the destrict's total population.[5]
