Markaz Rif Dimashq (Arabic: مركز ريف دمشق‎ Markaz Rif Dimašq) is a Sirie destrict (mantiqah) admeenistratively belangin tae Rif Dimashq Govrenorate. It is a group o municipalities aroond the Ceety o Damascus (a separate govrenorate). At the 2004 Census it haed a population o 837,804. It surroonds (but does no include) the Ceety o Damascus. Markaz Rif Dimashq haes nae offeecial admeenistrative centre. Wi a population o 136,427 inhabitants, the toun o Sayyidah Zaynab is the lairgest ceety o the destrict.
