Mohammed V returned frae exile on 16 November 1955, an wis again recognised as Sultan efter active opposition tae the French protectorate. In Februar 1956 he successfully negotiatit wi Fraunce for the unthirldom o Morocco, an in 1957 teuk the title o King.
