Musala (Bulgarie: Мусала; frae Arabic throu Ottoman Turkis: Musalla, "near God" or "place for prayer" [1][2] is the heichest peak in the entire Balkan Peninsula, staundin at 2,925 m (9,596 ft). The summit o the Rila moontain range in soothwastren Bulgarie, Musala is the heichest peak atween the Alps an the Caucasus an the heichest in Eastren Europe bar the Caucasus. Wi a prominence o 2473 m, Musala is the 7t maist prominent moontain peak in Europe.[3]
