Nangarhar (Pashto: ننګرهار‎ Nangarhār) is ane o the 34 provinces o Afghanistan in the east o the kintra. Its caipital is the ceety o Jalalabad. The population o the province is 1,334,000,^[1] which consists mainly o ethnic Pashtuns wi a sizable community o Arabs an Pashais.^[2]
