Osona (Catalan pronunciation: [uˈzonə]) is a comarca situatit in central Catalonie, Spain. Its caipital is Vic. Its population in 2001 wis 129,543. Osona covers roughly the same aurie as the historic Catalan coonty o Osona. The name Osona comes frae Ausetans, a group o Iberie fowk that haed thair caipital in Ausa (the day Vic); the Romans cried the aurie Ausone or Ausona.
