Claudius Ptolemy (/ˈtɒləmi/; Greek: Κλαύδιος Πτολεμαῖος, Klaudios Ptolemaios, pronounced [kláwdios ptolɛmɛ́ːos]; Laitin: Claudius Ptolemaeus; c. AD 90 – c. AD 168) wis a Greco-Roman writer o Alexandria, kent as a mathematician, astronomer, geographer, astrologer, an poet o a single epigram in the Greek Anthology.[1][2]
