Ruglen[1] (['rʌglɛn], Inglis: Rutherglen) is a toun in Sooth Lanrikshire, Scotland. Ruglen cums frae the Gaelic An Ruadh Ghleann, meinin "the reid glen". In 1975, it tint its ain local cooncil an becam a pairt o the Ceitie o Glesga. In 1996 Ruglen wis gien bak til the Sooth Lanrikshire cooncil aurie.
