Betsy Jochum "Sockum" (born February 8, 1921) is a former American baseball player. She played as an outfielder and pitcher. She played from 1943 to 1948 in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. She was listed at 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m), 140 pounds (64 kg). She batted and threw right-handed.[1] Jochum played for the South Bend Blue Sox during her whole career.
