Betty Lynn Buckley (born July 3, 1947) is an American actress and singer.[1] She won a 1983 Tony Award for Best Actress Featured in a Musical for her role in the original Broadway play Cats.

Buckley later played Norma Desmond in the 1994-96 play Sunset Boulevard. She was nominated for a 1995 Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical.[2] Her other Broadway credits include 1776 and Pippin.
Buckley also acted in the series Eight is Enough from 1977 to 1981. Other acts include playing Ms. Collins in Carrie (1976). Other acts include the musical version of Carrie in 1988 and playing Mrs. Jones in The Happening (2008).
Buckley was born in Big Spring, Texas.
