Fotini "Fofi" Gennimata (Greek: Φωτεινή "Φώφη" Γεννηματά [ˈfofi ʝenimaˈta]; 17 November 1964 – 25 October 2021) was a Greek politician. She was president of the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) from 2015 to 2021. She also was a member of the Hellenic Parliament between 2000 to 2002, a short time in 2012 and again from 2015 until her death. Gennimata was born in Athens, Greece.
Gennimata was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008.[1] She died from the disease at a hospital in Athens on 25 October 2021, aged 56.[2][3]
