Huangshi (simplified Chinese: 黄石; traditional Chinese: 黃石; pinyin: Huángshí), alternatively romanized as Hwangshih, is a prefecture-level city in southeastern Hubei province, People's Republic of China. Its population was 2,429,318 people at the 2010 census.
