Jackie DeShannon (born August 21, 1944) is an American musician and pop singer-songwriter.[1] She was born Sharon Lee Myers.
DeShannon began her career around 1950.

DeShannon was born in Hazel, Kentucky. Later, she and her parents moved to Aurora, Illinois.
