Jacob Dowell (born March 4, 1985 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin) is an American former professional ice hockey center. He played a total of 157 games in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars and Minnesota Wild.

He was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks with the 140th pick in the 2004 NHL Draft and played 4 seasons with them before being signed to the Dallas Stars on July 1, 2011.
On May 12, 2017, Dowell signed a one-year contract with EHC Liwest Black Wings Linz of the ICE Hockey League. After the year, he decided to retire from playing professional ice hockey.[1]
