Renato Corti

Renato Corti (1 March 1936 – 12 May 2020) was an Italian cardinal and prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He was Bishop of Novara from 1990 to 2011. Pope Francis promoted Corti to the rank of cardinal at a consistory on 19 November 2016. He was born in Galbiate, Province of Lecco.
Corti died on 12 May 2020 in Rho, Lombardy at the age of 84.[1][2]
