Sofia Carmina Coppola (born May 14, 1971 in New York City) is an American screenwriter, actress, director and producer. She is the daughter of director, producer and screenwriter Francis Ford Coppola and documentarian Eleanor Coppola.[1]

In 2003, Coppola won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. In 2010, she became the first American woman to win the Golden Lion award.

In 2017, Coppola directed The Beguiled. This movie stars Kirsten Dunst and Nicole Kidman.
