The statistical regions of Slovenia (Slovene: Statistične regije, singular: Slovene: Statistična regija) are 12 administrative sub-divisions (NUTS 3 level) created in Slovenia in May 2005 for legal and statistical purposes.

In total there are 12 statistical regions in Slovenia. These 12 statistical regions are grouped in two groups (NUTS-2 level): Eastern Slovenia (Slovene: Vzhodna Slovenija) and Western Slovenia (Slovene: Zahodna Slovenija)

From 1 January 2015, the name of the Spodnjeposavska statistical region changes to Posavska and the name of Notranjsko-kraška to Primorsko-notranjska.[1]
