Wayne Allwine

Wayne Anthony Allwine (February 7, 1947 – May 18, 2009)[1] was an American voice actor, sound effects editor and foley artist for The Walt Disney Company. He was best known for his role as the voice of Mickey Mouse from 1977 to 2009.[2] He was married to voice actress Russi Taylor, who was the voice of Minnie Mouse.[2] He died on May 18, 2009 of complications of diabetes.[1] He received an Emmy Award for sound editing in 1986.[1]
