Adeline Magloire Chancy (born 4 April 1931) is a Haitian educator, feminist, and politician. She is known for her works in making Haitian Creole as a valid language. Chancy is a founding member of the Haitian Creole Academy.[1] She was Haiti's minister for the feminine condition and women's rights from 2004 to 2006.[2]
