Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (transl. Oh heart, it is difficult) is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama film directed, produced and written by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions.^[1] The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil released worldwide on 28 October 2016 coinciding with the festival of Diwali.^[2] The film's soundtrack was composed by Pritam, lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and songs sung by Arijit Singh.

Plot

Alizeh, an independent woman recovering from a breakup, and Ayan, a naive musician, meet in New York and form an incredible bond. From there, they experience love, heartbreak and the facts of life.
