Ahaus is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is near the border to Netherlands. In 2020, the population was about 39,400. It is a storage site for used radioactive material. This town is divided into six districts: Ahaus, Alstätte, Graes, Ottenstein, Wessum, and Wüllen.
