Alain Aspect (French: [aspɛ] (audio speaker iconlisten); born 15 June 1947[2]) is a French physicist. He is known for his experimental work on quantum entanglement.[3][4][5][6] He won the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics with John Clauser and Anton Zeilinger. Earlier (2013), he won the Balzan Prize.
