Alan David Hansen (born 13 June 1955) is a Scottish former footballer and BBC television football pundit. He played as a central defender. He played for Partick Thistle, Liverpool and the Scotland national team. He co-hosted Match of the Day from 1992 to 2014.[2]
Hansen was born in Sauchie, Clackmannanshire.
