Alejandro Víctor Washington Atchugarry Bonomi (31 July 1952 19 February 2017) was an Uruguayan lawyer and politician.

He served as Minister of Economics and Finance during the 2002 Uruguay banking crisis.[2] It was a widely acknowledged role in the solution of Uruguay's worst economic moment in a century.[3]

Atchugarry died of an aneurysm in Montevideo on 19 February 2017, aged 64.[4]
