Alina Kabaeva (Russian: Али́на Мара́товна Каба́ева; born 12 May 1983) is a Russian former rhythmic gymnast. She started competing since she was 12, and retired when she was 24. She won many medals at World Championships, two Olympic medals (one bronze, one gold) and she came up with some of the flexibility-required moves in the sport. She was trained by Irina Viner. Now she works for State Duma.
Kabayeva is rumored to be Russian President Vladimir Putin's girlfriend.[1][2][3]
