Alvin Augustus Lucier Jr. (May 14, 1931 – December 1, 2021) was an American composer. His works were mainly experimental music and sound installations. He was a music professor at Wesleyan University and was a member of the Sonic Arts Union.
Lucier died at his home in Middletown, Connecticut, on December 1, 2021, at age 90, from problems caused by a fall.[1]
