Andrew Preston "Andy" Hopkins Sr. (October 19, 1949 – October 1, 2017) was an all-star American Canadian Football League (CFL) running back. He was born in Crockett, Texas.
From 1971 through 1973, Hopkins played for the Houston Oilers. From 1973 through 1975, he played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. In 1976, he began playing for the Montreal Alouettes until retiring in 1977.
Hopkins died on October 1, 2017 in Sugar Land, Texas at the age of 67.[1]
