Ann Stackhouse (or Ann Rule; October 22, 1931 – July 26, 2015) was an American non-fiction writer from Lowell, Michigan. Her first book, The Stranger Beside Me, was about the serial killer Ted Bundy, a man who used to work with Ann Rule. She went on to write many more true crime books.[1]
