Area code 775 is a telephone area code in the U.S. state of Nevada. It was created on December 12, 1998, when it was split from area code 702. It covers the northern and central parts of Nevada. Some of the major cities and towns in this area code include Reno, Carson City, Sparks, Elko, and Fallon. It is not set to be used up until late 2037.^[1]
