BYD Auto

BYD Auto Co., Ltd. (Chinese: 比亚迪汽车; pinyin: Bǐyàdí Qìchē) is a Chinese car, bus, coach and truck maker. It is a subsidiary of BYD Company. It was founded in January 2003 by Wang Chuanfu. The first car made by BYD was the F3, it was made in 2005.

BYD Auto makes different car types such as sedans, hatchbacks, MPVs, SUVs, battery electric buses and coaches, and large trucks. The company used to make internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles but stopped making them in 2022 because it wanted to make energy vehicles instead.^[8]
