Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwadit is a Pakistani politican From 1997 to 2010, he was a member of Parliament for Glasgow Central. He was the first Muslim politician in the United Kingdom.[1] In 2007, he said that he would not run for office again in Glasgow. From 2013 to 2015, and from 2018 to 2022 he was Governor of Punjab.[2]
