Jonathan Lyndale Kirk (born December 22, 1991), known professionally as DaBaby (formerly known as Baby Jesus), is an American rapper. After releasing several mixtapes between 2014 and 2018, he became popular in 2019.

His first album, Baby on Baby (2019), peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200. It featured the single "Suge". His second album, Kirk (2019) debuted at number one. It featured the single "Bop".

His third album, Blame it on Baby was released in 2020. Its single "Rockstar" (featuring Roddy Ricch) reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Also in 2020, he was featured on the hit song Levitating by Dua Lipa[3].

DaBaby won the Top Rap Song award at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards for "Rockstar".

He has also been involved in many controversies including killing a man at a Walmart in 2018, going on a homophobic rant during his 2021 Rolling Loud performance, and fighting his ex-girlfriend DaniLeigh's brother at a bowling alley in 2022.[4][5][6]
