Daizen Maeda (前田 大然, Maeda Daizen, born October 20, 1997) is a Japanese football player. He played for the Japan national team.

Biography

Maeda was born in Taishi, Osaka on October 20, 1997. After graduating from Yamanashi Gakuin University High School, he joined J2 League club Matsumoto Yamaga FC in 2016. In 2017, he moved to Mito HollyHock on loan. He played many matches and scored 13 goals. In 2018, he returned to Matsumoto. Matsumoto won the champions in 2018 and was promoted to J1 League. In July 2019, he moved to Portuguese Primeira Liga club Marítimo. In August 2020, he returned to Japan and joined Yokohama F. Marinos.

In May 2019, Maeda was selected the Japan national team for 2019 Copa América. At this tournament, he debuted against Chile on June 17.
