Deon Jackson (January 26, 1946 – April 19, 2014) was an American soul singer, songwriter and educator. His best known songs were "Love Makes the World Go Round" (1966), "Love Takes a Long Time Growing" (1966) and "Ooh Baby" (1967). He was born Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Jackson died on April 19, 2014 at the age of 68.[1]
