Dimitris Avramopoulos (born 6 June 1953) is a Greek politician. He is a member of the New Democracy party.[1] He was Mayor of Athens from 1995 to 2002.

He was the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for National Defence between 2012 to 2014. He was EU Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship in the Juncker Commission between 2014 and 2019.[2]
