Dmitry Andreyevich Muratov (Russian: Дмитрий Андреевич Муратов, born 30 October 1961) is a Russian journalist. He is the editor-in-chief of the Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta. He edited the newspaper between 1995 and 2017.[1] He won the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize with Maria Ressa.[2] He is known for criticizing President Vladimir Putin and his government on human rights abuses.[3]
