Sir Durward Randolph Knowles (2 November 1917 – 24 February 2018) was a Bahamian sailor and Olympic champion. He won the gold medal in the Star class at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, together with Cecil Cooke.[1][2] He won the bronze medal in the same class at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne.[3]

From 2016 to 2018, he was the oldest living Olympic champion.[4] He turned 100 in November 2017[5] and died on 24 February 2018 of kidney failure.[6][7]
