Edward Colman (1 November 1936 – 6 February 1958) was an English footballer. He spent his whole career at Manchester United, and played 108 total matches for the team, scoring two goals. While at Manchester United, he was nicknamed "Snakehips", because of his trademark body swerve.[1]
Colman was killed in the Munich air disaster on 6 February 1958, at the age of 21. He was the youngest person to die in the disaster. An accommodation building at the University of Salford is named after him.[2]
