Edgar Doud Whitcomb (November 6, 1917 – February 4, 2016)[1] was an American politician. He was the 43rd Governor of Indiana.[1] He served from 1969 to 1973.[1]

Whitcomb was born in Hayden, Indiana.[1] Whitcomb died February 4, 2016 at his home in Rome, Indiana from heart failure at the age of 98.[2]
