Edo Castle[note 1] is a castle built on a flatland in the year 1457. It was built by Ōta Dōkan. It is part of the Tokyo Imperial Palace in Chiyoda, Tokyo. It was restored by Tokugawa leyasu.[1] It was destroyed by fire many times.[2]
