Environmental laws are laws that protect the environment.[1] Environmental law is a collection of rules that tell people how they should treat the environment. [2] This also covers rules about how we should take care of things like forests, minerals, and fish. It also includes things like checking how our actions affect the environment. Environmental law is all about making sure that living things, including people, are safe from harm caused by human activity, both now and in the future.[3]
