Eugene Levy, CM (born December 17, 1946) is a Canadian movie, television, stage, voice actor, and comedian. He is known for his role in the all eight of the American Pie series of movies. He appeared in the 2012 movie Madea's Witness Protection. He has won a Emmy Award, a Grammy Award, a Gemini Award, and a Satellite Award. He voiced Charlie, Dory's father, in the 2016 Pixar movie Finding Dory and Lou the Porcupine in Over the Hedge.

He is also known for his award-winning role as Johnny Rose in the television series Schitt's Creek.

Levy was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on December 17, 1946.[1] and studied at McMaster University.

He has been married to Deborah Divine since 1977. They have two children (Dan and Sarah) and currently live in Los Angeles, California. In 2021, he was named honorary mayor of Pacific Palisades.[2]
