Giffnock (/ˈɡɪfnək/; Scots: Giffnock; Scottish Gaelic: Giofnag, gd) is the most important town in East Renfrewshire, the Central Lowlands of Scotland.

It is 3.7 miles (6.0 km) east of Barrhead, 5.6 miles (9.0 km) east-southeast of Paisley and 5.3 miles (8.5 km) northwest of East Kilbride.

Giffnock has called one of the least poor areas of Scotland. Stockbridge, Edinburgh was the least poor in Scotland in 2020.[4][5]
